Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Fare Theory acts as a third-party travel service provider, and we do not control the policies of these providers.

2. Flight Ticket Refunds

• Refund eligibility depends on the airline’s fare rules (refundable vs. non-refundable tickets).
• Cancellation requests must be made before the scheduled departure time.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting:
  • Airline cancellation fees
  • Fare Theory service/processing fees
• Some promotional or discounted fares may be non-refundable.

3. Train Ticket Refunds

• Refunds for train tickets are subject to the rail operator’s cancellation policies.
• Cancellation charges may apply depending on the timing of the cancellation.
• Service fees charged by Fare Theory may be non-refundable.

4. Hotel Booking Refunds

• Hotel cancellations and refunds depend on the hotel’s individual policy.
• Non-refundable or last-minute bookings may not be eligible for refunds.
• Refunds (if applicable) will be processed after deducting any applicable fees.

5. Processing Time

• Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days.
• In some cases, it may take longer depending on the airline, bank, or payment provider.

6. Service Fees

• Fare Theory does not charge a service or processing fee to process a refund

7. No-Show Policy

• If you fail to show up for your booking (flight, train, or hotel), it may be treated as a no-show, and no refund may be provided.

8. Changes & Modifications

• Changes to bookings (date, time, passenger details) are subject to availability and provider policies.
• Additional charges or fare differences may apply.

9. Force Majeure

• Fare Theory is not responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control (e.g., weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions).
